Merrill Place Residence Hall and Conference Center, Plymouth State University, Plymouth, NH
Merrill Place Residence Hall and Conference Center is the newest residence hall on the campus of Plymouth State University. Housing 288 students, the hall is both student housing as well as a multi-use conference space. Optimum Building Systems provided the exterior cladding system, using metal panels in custom colors for a sleek, finished look. The Press Hotel is located in the Gannett Building in Portland's historic Old Port District. Formerly the site of the Portland Press Herald offices and printing plant, the Press Hotel pays tribute to its origins by retaining much of the building's architectural details and artifacts, including a scale used for weighing rolls of newsprint. Design details, such as the display of antique typewriters in the hotel lobby, contribute to the unique appeal of this property.

Designed by Anna Beha Architects of Boston, the LEED-certified facility provides 5,000 square feet of additional gallery space, an auditorium that seats 135, and a classroom that will host programs for all age groups.
